The Top of the Torrens Gallery opened the annual Christmas exhibition, ‘An Eclectic Mix’ , on Sunday the 10th December 2023. This year we had 35 members displaying their works, with all exhibition fees raised are being donated to the Cancer Council.
Many of our members have been touched by cancer, whether it be directly or through family members and friends. The event was opened by Mr Michael Trenerry who spoke about his own battle with cancer and ongoing treatments, and the excellent care he received.
This was also our Christmas get together and members enjoyed a drink and nibbles as we talked about the year that was. The exhibition concludes on the 28th January, and any items purchased can be taken immediately if required.
